Joanne Carroll
has twenty-seven years of experience in
the housing industry. Joanne opened her consulting firm, JMC
Resources, LLC in 1992, and for the past eighteen years, she has provided
marketing and public relations services to custom and spec builders and
developers of residential communities throughout Connecticut. |
Connecticut Builder
Joanne Carroll is publisher/editor of the
Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Connecticut
trade magazine, CONNECTICUT BUILDER. The magazine is published in winter,
summer, and fall.
HOBI Awards
Joanne Carroll produces the annual HBA of CT HOBI (Home Building
Industry) Awards recognizing excellence and value in home design and
construction, home products, and new home sales and marketing.
Joanne advises builders on marketing and promotional strategies and
publicizes
builders and their
communities through local and regional media placement.
She conducts competitive market research, qualitative focus group research
and
traffic surveys for
builders.
She assists developers with P&Z presentations during the approval process
and
manages grass roots
campaigns in support of residential development.
She is a frequent speaker at NAHB events and statewide conferences and
meetings.
Joanne is a certified member of the Institute of Residential Marketing
(MIRM).
Chairman of the HBA of Connecticut Sales and Marketing Council.
Chairman HBA of CT Public Relations Committee.
Serves on the Board of Directors of both NAHBand CT Home Builders
Association.
President Fairfield County Home Builders & Remodelers Association 2000-2002.

Kerry Carroll is Joanne’s daughter and
partner. As technology and operations manager, Kerry develops and
implements all administrative systems. She is associate editor of
Connecticut Builder
magazine, and assists with writing and editing copy, layout,
contacting and soliciting advertisers and creating added value
programs. |
